Position Overview:

Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a dedicated Patient Care Coordinator to join their client's team in Overland Park, KS. This role is essential for ensuring smooth operations within the healthcare environment, providing top-notch service to patients, and assisting in administrative tasks. The position is 100% onsite and offers a temp-to-hire opportunity.

Responsibilities:

  • Receiving and triaging inbound phone calls to ensure efficient patient service.
  • Handling scheduling calls via dialer or outbound queues with accuracy and care.
  • Gathering and documenting demographics, plan information, patient history, and other relevant data in the pharmacy application as necessary.
  • Contacting physicians for any missing or required information to complete patient records.
  • Processing document intake queues for pharmacy technician processing.
  • Preparing shipping materials for packing stations to ensure timely medication deliveries.
  • Scheduling medication deliveries and ensuring proper communication with patients.
  • Performing other related duties as assigned by management to support the overall function of the department.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma, general education degree (GED), or one to three months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Preferred computer skills include Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Office, Teams).
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal, are preferred.
  • Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs if needed.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with databases (CRM preferable) or a tracking system; Salesforce CRM experience is a plus.
  • Experience working in a healthcare/pharmaceutical industry environment is a must.
  • Understanding of challenges associated with patients' medical conditions.
  • Must be able to work on-site in Overland Park, KS.

Work Hours:

  • M-F 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM

Benefits:

The role offers competitive pay at $22 per hour, with the potential for permanent hire after the temporary period. This position does not offer remote work options.

Additional Details:

This department will never have a remote option, and candidates must be able to lift 50 lbs. The role offers a temp-to-hire opportunity with a max and min pay of $22 per hour.
